When youth rise, communities grow. We are that rise.
In a time where many young Nigerians feel silenced, unheard, or disconnected from decision-making, a bold new movement is rising from the heart of Bwari Area Council — and it’s led by the youth themselves.
Voice of Usuma Progressive Youth Forum is not your typical community group. It’s a fast-growing, youth-led platform committed to advocacy, leadership development, and grassroots transformation in the Usuma Ward and surrounding communities. With a clear vision for inclusive progress, the forum is creating opportunities for young people to be heard, to act, and to lead.
“We are building a generation that doesn’t just complain — but contributes meaningfully to the future of our community,” says Daniel Eche Ali, the Vice President of the Forum.
Your Voice Matters
Founded on the principles of unity, integrity, and progressive action, Voice of Usuma is tackling issues that matter to today’s youth — from voter education and unemployment to civic participation and social justice.
The Forum’s initiatives include leadership boot camps, youth town halls, environmental clean-ups, and mentorship programs. During election seasons, it has played a key role in sensitizing first-time voters and organizing policy dialogues between youth and political aspirants.
